Aspire Rockport is located within First Baptist Church of Rockport, providing a consistent and welcoming space for our students.
Our classrooms are situated in a secured area of the campus, with controlled access and a structured environment that prioritizes student safety, while still allowing room for creativity, movement, and hands-on learning.

Position Overview
We are looking for dependable, caring individuals to join our substitute teacher list and help support our classrooms when a regular teacher is unavailable.
Substitutes may work with a variety of grade levels and will be provided with lesson plans and classroom guidance for the day. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with children and would love to be part of our homeschool community without committing to a regular weekly teaching schedule.
In this role, you will:
- Step into classrooms as needed when a regular teacher is absent
- Follow provided lesson plans and classroom routines
- Help students complete assigned work in math, language arts, science, and history
- Maintain a positive, structured, and well-managed classroom
- Encourage students and provide assistance when needed
- Communicate any important classroom concerns or information to Aspire leadership
- Help create a safe, respectful, and welcoming environment for our students

- Dependable, patient, and comfortable working with children
- Confident leading and managing a classroom
- Able to follow lesson plans and adapt when needed
- Comfortable working with a variety of ages and learning levels
- Positive, encouraging, and respectful of our homeschool environment
- Available on an as-needed basis on Tuesdays and/or Thursdays
Teaching certification is not required. Experience working with children in a classroom, homeschool, church, childcare, or similar setting is a plus.
